A good idea put to use

While visiting Fredericksburg, Texas a little over a week ago, with Aunt Robin, we happened upon a shop called "Thing's in a Room" which carried beautiful fabrics - displayed in such a way that you could really see the pattern of each bolt easily.

Above the bolts of fabric were probably 40 or so different sized and shaped hoops filled with fabric.

Stunning!

I was inspired, purchased five different sized hoops and put some of my favorite fat quarters to use as decoration above my sewing area.

Hoping it will encourage me to sew regularly. Last week I was able to finish binding a baby quilt for one of my grand-nieces. . . and get it in the mail.

Looking foward to sewing lots this summer!
